I came across this cassette tape in my Mom's things as we were downsizing her apartment into assisted living at Oakwood Prairie Ridge. I finally found a way to digitize the tape so I could share it in time for Christmas this year.
My recollection is that this tape was made as a Christmas gift to Grandma Mickelson in December 1985. It contains a lot of Grandma's favorite Christmas carols and hymns.
My Aunt Pauline Mickelson along with my Mickelson cousins Susan, Deb, Randy, Jean and Kelly were singing, Mom was playing the piano and organ. The recording was made in the choir loft at Spring Prairie church, I'll check with my cousins to see if they have any more recollections about the recording to share.
